It worked great as a KVM for Linux servers until a defect in the distribution of my choice broke display port + text console. It's a Linux distro problem, not a problem with this switch.And the problem went away when I added a graphical console to the mix.I write this in hopes the manufacturer puts that in their product notes.Went above and beyond my expectations... and I've used a lot of "commercial" KVMs in the past.
