I bought this for a project for work and not really knowing it's full capability. I bought about 8 different screen of the same size and this one is by far my favorite. I have a Samsung Galaxy S23 connected to this via USB-C to either mirror or display a 2nd screen through Samsung's DEX. It works great for our application where we need the phone and screen facing opposite directions and have them show different things. The touch screen on the screen works really well, and in our case is perfect for scrolling through a series of photos, all while we have a custom UI app running on the phone. Things that worked great for me about the screen is how thin it is. Out prototype is weight sensitive and this is small and light. The touch screen is a great added bonus for this setup. The resolution is VERY good, we are using this screen for a vision test at several distances and this works great. The ability to have the screen powered, display, and touch screen all operational in one cable is so convenient (touch + power + signal USB-C port). The only issue is I had a hard time finding a low profile 90 or 180 degree USB-C plug to run this (but eventually I did). The only thing that sometimes gets messed up is when you start it all up. If you have it all plugged in and you power on the phone, the screen works fine. If the phone is on, and you plug in the screen, the screen doesn't always get recognized (this is in DEX mode). I sometimes have to power off the screen and power it back on to get it all to work correctly. I found too that you can plug another USB-C cable into the touch + power USB-C port and it will back feed into the phone and charge it while being used (a must for our application). I did try the HDMI ports in other configurations and those worked as well, but didn't have the touch feature (unless you had the USB-C cable plugged in). Overall, this thing is really cool and I immediately starting thinking of other uses for this screen!
