I don't use them for a winch. I use them for a self leveling system for the hillside elevators the company I work for makes. We bend our tracks to the contour of the hillside in certain applications and use a 3/4 hp DC motor hooked to a heavy duty screw jack. These relay solenoids work awesome for changing our system from forward to reverse depending on the direction it's running. Can't beat the price either.
