I use this at my desk and in a lounge chair for watcing TV.It gives me the support I need and helps relieve any back pain and spasms I may be having.Need some way to keep it from sliding around on the chair surface. The material is too slick and it slides out from under your seat. The one I received would only switch/pass-through the HDMI video feed, not the keyboard & mouse connected through it by USB. So it only did the "V" in "KVM". I was using very ordinary keyboard & mouse, nothing that may be considered eccentric that a KVM might not recognize like a trackpad or something.I also had an issue with the button to switch feeds which at first did nothing. Turning the unit off & on a few times and eventually it seemed to work (for video only), but I have to wonder if that would be a recurring problem.Another irritation: it's a 4x KVM, but only included 2 sets of cables. Yes, unlike the bundled special cables analog KVMs used to have, these are each just a regular HDMI cable stuck to a regular USB A/B cable, so easily substituted, but this is the first time I ever got a KVM that didn't include enough cables for all the intended devices.I returned it.This KVM switch was working yesterday after I connected a NVR plus 3 Win 10 PCs. After using it, I powered the unit off. Today, I'm unable to get a display on the monitor, even after rebooting the NVR and PCs. Is there a special procedure to be followed to reconnect the devices after powering the KVM off overnight? I've tried reseating the cables and still not showing a display on my 27" monitor as it did yesterday.Update:A replacement unit arrived however same issue with this unit. The product ads the KVM is hot swappable however this doesn't seem to be the case whatsoever. Awaiting a reply from the seller. IF no reply then I'll just send it back and find a better KVM that actually works.[Keyboard]Legacy Apple A1243 wired keyboard is recognized and works properly on any one of "Keyboard/Mouse" and "USB 2.0" port.Howver, my primary Corsair K95 RGB PLATINUM Mechanical keyboard is NOT recognized on any one of "Keyboard/Mouse" port. It works only on "USB 2.0" port.[Mouse]A very simple optical mouse recognied on any one of "Keyboard/Mouse" port, but with HUG lagging. It works fine only on the "USB 2.0" port.[HDMI]It seems OK. But the package comes with only 2 sets of HDMI+USB cables. I need to buy additional cables to hook up all my 4 pcs.In conclusion, only the "USB 2.0" port works fine with my mechanical keyboard or mouse, but not both, since it comes with only one.I am returning it.Tried others, but this is one of the few that keeps the monitor information when switched away so your not seeing other monitors rearrange themselves whenever you switch one monitor to another system.Never seen the point of the remote control, it's on my desktop machine and I can switch using the keyboard shortcut so the remote just gets tossed in a drawer. The dedicated keyboard/mouse input is laggy and pretty much useless. You'll need to use a USB hub plugged into the USB 2 port.Worked OK for the first 6 months, but now it regularly just stops outputting the display for no reason, and the only way I can get it to work again is to completely unplug everything and reconnect from scratch (even this usually takes a few attempts). They seem to have NO WARRANTY to speak of, so I'm probably going to be forced to replace it.
