Description
Whether you're using solar, batteries or a generator to power your AC devices on the road, chances are, you're going to want to use shore power when it's available. Connect a Samlex Transfer Switch to your generator, or to your inverter/battery bank and have your AC source switched automatically to shore power when you plug in. Comes with a standard North American power cord for convenient connection to 15 Amp NEMA5-15R receptacles on a generator or an inverter with up to 1800 VA capacity (Replace this cord with 30 Amp cord if full 30 Amp capacity is required).

I needed a transfer switch for my motorhome after I added a stand-alone Solar cell with Lithium battery system. The transfer was to enable either shore/generator power or the inverter from the Lithium power source. It worked seamlessly and was truly intuitive to install. After I disconnected all power, I hooked up the connection from the shore/generator, then hooked up power from the lithium battery. After that, all that was needed was plugging the coach's wiring into the transfer switch. It worked first time and worked throughout the remainder of our three-month trip. This unit is awesome.
