For years, I used a das keyboard with blue switches. I had the vaguest idea of the various mechanical keyboards, but one day, I decided to learn more.... one very deep youtube rabbit hole later, I found myself the proud new owner of this Keychron keyboard. I then set about modifying it and discovered just how well it was built. It has an extremely heavy silicone pad on the undertray for insulation, and the keys are super high quality. Disassembly was very easy and enjoyable with no hard to reach screws. It was definitely designed with modders in mind. I ended up swapping the switches, though the stock browns were very pleasant. With some lube, switches, and a tape mod, this keyboard is now the thockiest I've ever experienced. If I ever decide to get another, Keychron will definitely be at the top of my list.
