My 2007 Corolla S was having a strange acceleration problem. The pedal would go down a third of the way down before reacting, this would vary depending on the temperature outside. After many google searches and forums that would suggest fuel systems, I started to look at sensors. Then noticed the spring on this thing and thought: Maybe this is reacting to the weather. And check it out! Part arrive fast. Easy enough to install 2 screws and a plug and Bam Car runs like new! Part may be adjustable I don't know, but for me its a solution to a 3 year old issue!
