I have an older TV with only one HDMI and purchased the IOGear 4-Port HD Audio/Video Switch to facilitate easier/multiple connections. It seems the screen images are clearer than before when my devices were connected directly to my TV and of course now I don't have to unplug and switch cables to the HDMI port. My family seems to comprehend switching this box more easily than changing the input/source on the TV as before. It is easy to see which one of the 4 ports is selected, but I did label which item was connected to each port to help my wife and children. I love this item and actually purchased a second one for a TV that does have multiple HDMI, mainly because it make hooking up XBOX and WII simpler and through HDMI.
