We wanted a large pan/system for heating the water to dunk our chickens in when plucking their feathers for butchering. This worked very well. The one drawback is the stand and pan are very lightweight, so when the pan is empty, it easy to tip over. Other than that, we were very pleased with it's function outside. You will need to provide a wind block around the stand/flame if there is any wind/breeze. Watch the timer, you will need to reset periodically if you don't want to keep relighting the flame every 15 minutes. I am glad the manual came in english/spanish/french. We had another couple helping with the butchering and they actually setup the burner and ended reading the french version of the manual.
