The headlights on my 2004 Mercury Grand Marquis failed to come on while the turn, parking lights worked fine. After some researching, I checked all related fuses and connections to the switch and light control module. Luckily I had the wiring diagram book for the car and was able to check the continuity of the Light switch and determined that it was not according to the manual. Local dealers priced the part around $130 but no one had it in stock with at least a four day wait due to the weekend and holiday. On a hunch I checked Amazon and to my amazement wound this switch at a fraction of the cost. Since we recently became Prime customers I was presented with two day free shipping but also with an overnight option with Saturday deliver for $4. Keep in mind that this was on a Friday night after 6PM Central Time. I was very skeptical but figured what the heck and checked Saturday delivery. I got up the next morning and was shocked when the UPS truck stopped in front my house at 8AM with my part. I was super happy and told the driver how much I appreciated the fast delivery.The part went in easy and the headlights are working once again. Thanks Amazon and UPS!
