This harness utilizes only the finest pots, caps, and wiring to take your tone to the next level! A set of 920D Custom 450G series CTS pots, Orange Drop capacitors, and a durable Pure Tone output jack are all pre-installed in a harness, greatly reducing the need for soldering on the user’s end. The S5W-HSS comes with a unique setup that allows the single-coil pickups to "see" 250k volume control while the humbucker "sees" 500k volume control — simply put, this tames harsh highs on your single-coils and bolsters your humbucker's articulation.

Put this in my '82 Kramer w a SD Hot rail at the neck, cool rail in the middle and a Darkburst humbucker at the bridge. The humbucker was a two wire so I didn't have the coil split. I contacted the vendor / Jimmy about the bridge series link and was advised to ignore due to two wire config. I am a 2M micro/min repair tech from the Navy, ET1. A decent parts kit is ~ $40. The time spent to solder all of it together to the level of quality that this kit provides is worth the extra $40 -50. Went in without a hitch. Sound tests were good. The instrument sounds great into my 11R, HKGM 40 and JS-10. -hth
