Oh boy! This baby can fry! Now I’m not going to sugar coat it: Does it hold temp as well as a Dutch oven thermometer rig on a gas stove? No. Is this industrial grade? Absolutely not. Is the top impossible to see through and literally useless? Yes (just throw it out immediately you’ll thank me later). But if you wanted any of that you can go open a restaurant. This fryer is perfect for the occasional deep frying enthusiast who doesn’t want too much hassle and owns a dishwasher. Again no one needs a deep fryer but if you want a deep fryer you can’t go wrong with this one. It reaches temp quickly. The basket is workable. The capacity is convenient. The safety features are safe-ish (it’s boiling oil how safe can it be). So stop looking at endless pages of deep fryers and just get this one.
