I took this one with me on the road to New Hampshire in the summer of 2024 (from West Texas) and what I love about it is that it does a nice job of keeping the interior of my 4Runner cool while I sleep. It won't do much for you (unfortunately) in high-humidity, but if you are camping in your vehicle (as I like to do), it really keeps the truck's interior cool. If you cool down the interior of the vehicle (idle for 10-15 minutes) and get it nice and cool, then let this baby run, you'll be comfy all night. I put a 12 ounce bottle of water in it and woke up refreshed 7 hours later. It's quiet and won't keep you awake. I'm very pleased with this little cooler.
