I installed the multifunction switch on my 2000 Impala because the high beam switch ceased to work on the factory original. It took me about 2 hours total to complete the job, as it's not difficult with just basic tools.I finished up though with a connector spare which worried me no end, but everything worked. I later found out it is for the column change version and mine is floor change. By the way did I say I am 85 years old, and not a mechanic,so if I can do it you can do it you can do it.
