I needed a managed switch to monitor traffic in various rooms. This was perfect for the job. It went in easy (as these switches do) and I was up polling traffic stats in no time. One downfall is the hard coded management IP (192.168.0.1). You may want to configure this switch before you install it, so it can be close to your computer (since you will probably have to setup direct connection to the switch, or a static route to it).
