I recently bought this SoftStart unit for my 15K BTU Dometic Brisk II A/C. This unit is super easy to install and took less than an hour. My Brisk unit was slightly different then the instructional video (my a/c did not have the 2 red wires to cut and tape off), so I submitted a support, and promptly received a call from a gentleman that was very helpful, and confirmed what we had already suspected (my a/c did not have the wires). This was all way easy to install. The instructions are so simple. Anyways, I started my Honda EU2000 and plugged in my utility ATV trailer, and turned on the fan of the A/C, and then turned the thermostat to cold, and damned if it didn't come on exactly like it said would!!! I was in complete disbelief I was running a 15K BTU A/C with a 2000 watt generator. So I waited a few minutes to see what would happen, and the air was running cold!!! It was working!!! Excellent product!!! Don't let the price tag scare you away, this thing straight up works great!!! I would definitely recommend this product to a friend or my own mother!!
