This lab coat is lightweight and easy to don and doff with just a few Velcro patches holding it together. That said, the Velcro patches hold well and resist opening when stretching or moving about. The material is thin and has a plastic coating to keep liquids from getting through. The material isn't the most durable, but unless you're planning on tackling someone in the lab, I think they're strong enough for everyday use.
