NICE-POWER R-SPS-C High Power Battery Charging DC Power Supply NICE-POWER R-SPS High Power Battery Charging Series DC Power Supply are designed for charging batteries. The DC Power Supply can charge a wide range of battery types within it's voltage range. Such as lithium batteries, lead-acid batteries, LiFePO4 batteries, etc. The DC power supply has a maximum voltage of 60V, and can charge batteries below 60V, such as 6V/12V/24V/36V/48V/60V batteries. Common Battery Charge Current and Charge Voltage: Charging voltage = 1.15 * battery rated voltage. Charging current = 0.1C~1C ("C" is the battery capacity). WARNING: Please note that the above recommendations do not represent all battery types, and you should check the proper charging voltage and current before charging. Please note: Due to the design of the power supply, the front panel is only suitable for output currents up to 5A. To avoid damaging the power supply, connect the high current connector on the back of the unit for output currents above 5A. The back panel can reach the maximum current of the purchased specification: for example, if you purchase 30V 30A, the current can reach 30A by connecting the back panel high-current terminal. Tips for charging batteries from the DC power supply When the battery is charging, the "check" indicator will light up if the wiring is incorrectly connected or there is any other error, then you need to check the circuit. When the battery is charging, the "charging" light will come on, the DC power supply is charging your battery. When your battery is almost fully charged, the DC power supply will automatically stop charging and the "FULL" light will come on. With this high power rechargeable DC power supply, you will no longer have to worry about battery damage or damage to the DC power supply due to reverse charging of the batteries into the DC power supply. The high power feature can meet your multiple charging needs. Output Switch The DC power supply is equipped with an output switch, you can set the voltage/current value you need first, and then turn on the output switch, then the DC power supply will have output voltage/current. The output switch prevents the connected load from being damaged. Battery Charging Button This is a DC power supply designed for battery charging. It stops automatically when the battery is full. It also prevents the battery from charging the DC power supply in reverse. Memory Storage DC power supply with 4 sets of data storage buttons, you can set the commonly used data for storage, turn on the DC power supply again can be used with one key. Intelligent Fan When the operating temperature of the DC power supply exceeds 122°F or 50°C, the fan will turn on intelligently to dissipate heat effectively. Reduces the working noise of the DC power supply and prolongs the service life of the DC power supply. I like it overall, seems well built. Although, when I set the voltage, the display stays at that voltage I'm trying to get to. Other power supplies i have had will show the current voltage so for someone who may not have a seperate multi meter to watch voltage, they will not know where it's currently at. Another thing is that when I set the current, it acts more like a max current allowable setting but does not reach that current, even initially. It will taper down the current as it gets closer to the desired voltage as well. Which may be what some people want. I use it for testing and tinkering with batteries and I was wanting to have it put out the current I choose. But that wasn't a good enough reason for me send it back. I will keep it.
