I haven’t used this for my skis just yet, but I’m impressed so far with the quality, ease of installation, the flip down feature, and relatively low price. The buttons to open up the racks are large and easy to use with gloves, and the size and weight are great. I haven’t driven with it in the carrying position, but with it folded down, there’s hardly any additional wind noise in my 2018 bmw x3, even with the sunroof cover open at highway speeds. Will update later after I make a trip with skis in place.
