I was looking for heated gloves that are thin enough to wear casually. When your gloves are as thick as ski gloves, it's nearly impossible to use a cell phone, car keys, house keys, fish anything out of your pocket, light a cigarette, or anything else... and I'm here to say that is not a problem with these gloves! They're very thin and fit my fingers snugly, plus they have those handy finger/thumb tips so you can use touch screens with them on. No trouble with finger dexterity with these gloves at all!The flip side to that is the fact that these gloves aren't as warm as they could be. They're so thin that if the wind blows hard and cold, you can kind of feel it stealing the warmth away. With that said, these gloves are marketed as "glove liners" and are meant to be worn underneath other gloves in order to reach their full potential. I chose not to get other gloves and I'm sure that if I put them under other gloves, they would be incomparably warm! But I'm happy using them on their own, since they keep my fingers toasty for the most part. If the wind blows and chills my fingers, I can put them in my pockets and within a minute, the gloves have them cozy warm again. The batteries are a little bit bulky, to be honest, but it hasn't caused me any issues. The battery pocket for these gloves is on the inside of the wrist on each glove, far enough away from the joint that I have full mobility, and I've never accidentally hit the buttons or turned the batteries off. They also come with little caps for the cords so that when you wash them, no water gets in there. That's kind of a minor detail, but it guarantees that you don't have to worry about water being in the part of the cord that plugs into your battery, so I appreciate that attention to detail!Washed fine in the washing machine, and hung dry in about 2 hours with a fan pointed at them. Gloves themselves were dry in like 30 minutes, but the thicker wrist portion with the battery pocket takes a bit longer.Battery life is exactly as advertised! They take a little longer to charge than I expected, but it hardly matters since I charge them overnight. By the time I wake up, they're always full.I noticed a couple other reviews talking about how the seams tore or other minor quality issues... and for my part, nothing has torn or broken despite the fact that I ordered such a small size that they're skin tight. They hold up like champs, even when I subject them to tree bark and rocks and occasionally thorn branches!Would recommend to anyone ever!
