I bought this product based on a YouTube video recommendation. Im not a plumber or electrician but owning a pool can get pretty expensive. So, I like to look for ways to save without taking shortcuts. If its a simple project or something I feel I can do without damaging any components, I do it. I compared this product with similar products, went back and forward with reviews and took a week to figure it out. After, thorough research I went with this one which is actually a Hayward replacement part. It cost more than other brands but I did not want to take the risk. Also, this vendor had good reviews and a good return policy which made me feel comfortable about this purchase. I learned a long time ago that you get what you pay for. Since this was a DIYS project I decided to pay for the Hayward brand. I still ended saving probably $200 - $300 or more if I would have had the pool repair company come out and do it. Based on the location of my automation system and salt cell, it took me 15 minutes to do the whole replacement. Once my pool was turned back on within 15 seconds the flow switch kicked in and my "no flow" message disappeared. Cross my fingures and I hope I do not have to come back to update my review anytime soon. I gave it a 5 star for the look, feel and quality of the product. I received the exact description of what was being sold in the vendors site. And it was the exact same look as the original one I replaced. I had my original for over 7 years without any problems. Hopefully, this one lasts as long. As of this date it works well and I would recommend this product.
