This is the fourth air fryer I've tried. Cooking for one person, mainly seafood, tofu, veggies. I tried single and double "drawer style" fryers and neither worked well for what I'm doing. The single was too small, the double was interesting but huge. I didn't care for pulling out the drawers so I tried another that offered - like this one - the ability to lift out the pan in a similar way. I stood taller and was fairly noisy but it convinced me that this option is better than the pull-out drawers. This one is a reasonable size for its capacity. It's not real loud. The pan is large, square with rounded edges. The handle to lift it out works great. Very easy to clean (I don't put this kind of thing in the dishwasher, hand wash with soft sponge and natural detergent and it cleans easily). It has plenty of settings for me - four temps, several presets and a timer. Perfectly fine to make everything I'll need to. It feels solid and has rubber feet so doesn't move around when it shouldn't.The only negative is that, while it doesn't blow out a lot of heat (I always use it away from any objects/walls so wouldn't be an issue anyway) and doesn't heat up the countertop underneath it, some portions of the outer shell - specifically the lower sides and the metal ring just below the clear plastic section - get VERY hot. Too hot to safely touch. Need to be very careful not to brush against it and always only touch the (ok, pretty large) button to open it. The very top can also be touched as well as the controls, of course. But everyone needs to keep away from the big parts.Overall, I am satisfied with it and its price was inline with what I'd expect given the quality (generally good, but like most kitchen appliances these days, lots of plastic).
