I attempted to use it on an industrial application for water flow. I adjusted it to the most sensitive setting and it would still not operate. I was desperate to get it going that day so ended up dismantling it to see if I could either free the mechanism up or modify it. I found that the heavy duty micro switch spring tension was really high and the lever action operating it by flow was also pretty restricted so the overall force needed to activate it was unrealistic . Having dismantled it I invalidated any warranty so I've ended up junking it. In an ideal world I should have returned it. I expected a better product from Johnson Controls - clearly the spec for this switch is not accurate or they have not sufficient quality control. I gave it 2 Stars because it is materially well made - just useless for what its supposed to do.
