This unit was purchased primarily to do LAG (link aggregation groups or "teaming" -- bundle four 1 GBe lines into one IP address. You don't really get 4 GBe on a single process / thread but you can theoretically get 1 GBe each for four processes should the hardware at each end be able to keep up. I used to have a NetGear GS724T that was great but it died in a lightning storm AND it cost almost twice the TP-Link price.Likes:Feature packedQuiet -- fan-lessGood price pointSolid looking buildCommand line interface if you like that kind of thingNot-so-much:The Web GUI needs some work.It's all in there, just not well laid out.I have the user guide PDF open at all times just to find what I'm looking for and how to navigate there.Compare this to the NetGear GUI which was a dream.Still, I'm happy to keep the cash for something I rarely do (configuring the switch).I'll update review with LAG testing results as I finally have a server and a NAS each with LAG capable 4 by 1 GBe NICS and I have enough VMs of different sorts I should be able to max out something in the architecture.
