I purchased this .177 cal rifle to replace my Crosman Venom nitro-piston. The Crosman had approximately 3000 rounds over the years and began to scatter the shot placement up and down. I thought either my scope was drifting, or my barrel breech lock was getting worn. Most of the time it would group within 2" at 25 yds, which isn't great. However, sometimes it wouldn't hit the target. The Hatsan after around 50 rds groups around 1 1/4" at 25 yds. Mainly, the groups are consistent shot after shot. The gun is new but has a very tight action which will probably loosen with wear. The Hatsan is a little quieter but the Crosman has a higher velocity. I did not chronograph the two, but going by sound the Crosman seems faster. I would recommend the Hatsan for someone looking for decent accuracy.
